Great local bar with excellent cocktails. The food is good too. But the location and space really make this place special. The theme is subtle, but the erudite and well read will appreciate it. Glad something nice landed in the old copper door space.

I had a fabulous brunch at Gilman house today! As someone who played eldritch horror board games throughout my 20s, I loved all the little Easter eggs hidden throughout this space. As for food, magic is afoot here! I got the blueberry french toast (compote on the side because I was afraid of it being too sweet....shame on me, it was perfect!) and my friend had the biscuits and gravy. Both of us were surprised that the biscuits and the french toast held up their crunchiness against their flavorful toppings (no soggy bread syndrome here!). We didnt swap drinks due to the current health climate, but I got a devil's reef spotlight and it was boozy and fabulous! It has a great atmosphere pair with fantastic food. If you can support them during the next series of executive orders, you should! This will be a gem to shine in Tacoma. I will be back!

Loved the atmosphere of this place! Service was good, very friendly. Smaller menu, but the food is DELICIOUS. I had the Bed and Breakfast Biscuit. The biscuits are incredible. Lots of vegetarian and vegan options. The drink menu looked really good, will have to come back for cocktails.

Exceptional drinks, delightful decor, outstanding food, and wonderful staff. The atmosphere is flooded with natural light during the summer evenings, there are verdant little plants growing in artfully grouped and spaced locations, but the nautical decorations make it all feel like a coastal home where you can sink into the cozy furniture and let your self be immersed in the whole experience. Robin and Jason have created another wonderful space and menu that make it worth coming from Renton twice in a month to enjoy.

This place is amazing. Love the ambiance. Some of the best brunch I have ever had! Can't wait to try dinner.
