My friend and I are both bartenders and, on our way through town after a ladies trip, we wanted to find a spot that was our vibe. As soon as we walked up to the well and our friendly bartender Craig poured us our drinks, we knew we were in the right spot. We saddled up, intending to only have one drink, but once we started playing tunes on the jukebox and conversing with the regulars we were right at home. The music was hooked up on the outside patio too, which, in our experience, is rare. When we’re in Tacoma again we’ll for sure stop. If you’re looking for a classic dive with good drinks, good peeps, and no pretentiousness, give Home Plate a go!
Always remember this place as being a cozy little bar. I remember a gal named Laney? that worked there. Anyone know anything about her?
This place is everything people say it is, and they make a great martini. Great prices and wonderful people.
