I loved watching the owner Delia, and her beloved parrot... omg, I am still laughing! ❤ufe0f The parrot on duty is clearly a Latina ud83eudd29ud83eudd29ud83dudcafud83dudc8bud83dudc4c Cutie pie’s previous owners were Mexican, and no, she is NOT for sale, and I can see why - ❤ufe0fud83dudcafLOVE.nI donated 20 finches, you can see them in two of the cages, come give some a good home, support our local businesses.nThis one touched my heart ❤ufe0f❤ufe0f❤ufe0f❤ufe0f❤ufe0fnYou see the owner and her grandson in the pics, this is such a cute spot, owned by a family that truly cares about birds and continuing the legacy of this spot, it has been here for so many years, it needs your support ud83dudcafud83dudc4cud83dude4fud83dude4f❤ufe0f❤ufe0f❤ufe0f❤ufe0f

This review is for boarding a bird. Long story short, I brought my bird to this place and when I arrived the owner was extremely rude and unhelpful. She was a bit short and snippy with me on the phone at first, but I didn't let it factor into the equation until I experienced it first hand when I arrived at the shop. I decided to try this place out because of the reviews on Yelp, and didn't really think the negative reviews were something I would experience as well. Unfortunately, all the negative reviews about this place are spot on. She is not accommodating and will pull any excuse to try and charge you for a double day rate if you make her feel like she has to spend more time in the shop that she owns, but within the shops advertised business hours. I would highly recommend you find a different place to bring your bird. There are several other places that are way more qualified than this shop in Long Beach. Seek them out and spare yourself the wasted effort and time leaving your bird with her. Your bird deserves better and so do you.

I love going in to buy my supplies and see other birds. The owner is so nice and will special order whatever you need, including birds. She has lots of practical experience and advice. Not a huge place, but everything I need.
