The Herbal Gardens (THG)

I love this place!!! Their online menu is always current, and their staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Can't say enough good things about it. And as an added bonus once you become VIP, you get extra perks as well as being able to use your cards for payment

My first impression when walking in was impressive. A really nice atmosphere that felt welcoming, lighting and displays were on point. This Tacoma pot shop really seems cares about the quality of medicine they sell, and the industry itself. How do I know this? Because I am actually a vendor who has visited most every pot shop in the state, and I've never been asked so many questions and scrutinized of my product and methods to produce a sellable product. The prices at THG might be a little higher than other locations, and that is because the owner really values the farmers who provide the product and making sure that everyone involved in producing the cannabis is getting a fair deal. They interview growers & processors and ask lots of question about sourcing, methods, and assuring they are selling quality over cutting corners, or rushing product to market, etc. There has been a race to the bottom for prices in this industry because of a ton of competition, and it has put tons of small family farms out of business because the big guys can afford to lose money sometimes and drown out the little guys. The owners at The Herbal Gardens really cares a lot about preserving a craft cannabis industry in Washington. If you parallel this to the beer industry, there was a time when micro brews didn't really exist because laws and barriers to entry made it impossible for small craft companies to exist. I'd hate to see that happen to our craft industry of pot growers if more small growers keep going under because they can't get a fair price. If your values are in line with quality, and preserving a thriving craft industry, The Herbal Gardens is definitely one of the few that is trying to keep our industry thriving and supported for small craft vending. Knowing all this now, after my visit with them, I would choose to support these guys over others in the area that don't scrutinize or ask the hard questions that The Herbal Gardens does. For this, I give you 10 stars.

entire staff is super professional. I always enjoy going in because I can ask questions and get great recommendations for anything I need. The staff really makes this place, especially Jim and Jameson. both guys were very friendly and on top of their knowledge. I look forward to going back to try new products :)

Really like the customer service here, the budtenders have alot of knowledge about their products and are very friendly! On top of that its a small store with good inventory and is usually pretty mellow in the store so you can actually hear what they are saying to you compared to other stores that are blasting music and have lines going out the door

One of my favorite places to visit. Staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. Only reason I don't give perfect score is because I feel they could do with a little more variety.
