If I could give more stars I would. I had outpatient surgery and from check in to discharge I had the most compassionate care.nMy Dr, anesthesiologist, and nurses were absolutely amazing and I have never been to a more caring facility.nIf I ever need another procedure done, I will definitely make sure its at Allenmore Hospital.nThank you for going above and beyond especially in these trying times.

I needed to have an emergency surgery. My stay was 4 days and 3 nights. Every single person that was part of my care was wonderful. Registration & the ER was very welcoming. Housekeeping was very kind and courteous. The CNA were fantastic! They all went above and beyond to help me feel comfortable, clean & well taken care of. The nurses were very knowledgeable and took the time to help me understand my medical needs. They eased my nerves and made me feel as though they really cared. The nurse manager even came into my room to make sure I was being well taken care of and offered me aromatherapy which helped me immensely. Everyone was prompt & professional, yet made me feel like a friend. There was people that came to check my skin. They nutrition came and took custom orders for my food. Anesthesia was great and spoke with me before and after surgery. The surgeon was fantastic! He checked on me daily & really went into detail about everything. He took his time and answered all my questions. I’m very grateful that I had such skilled & companionate care.

My daughter is having surgery today at Multicare Allenmore Hospital. Since coming in the door we have been treated like family. All staff from the door greeters, housekeepers, CNA’s, nurses, surgeons and anesthesiologists have been kind, informative and take the extra step to make the patient and family feel secure in their care! I have been in healthcare for 39 years and this has been an amazing experience in what fantastic customer service and competent and caring care looks like. Thank you!

Great hospital, but really poor call times. I have loved the service they’ve provided, but would appreciate if they improved their caller service.

I was kept in recovery for 6 hrs post-surgery because they wouldn’t give me pain killers other than oral oxycodone and couldn’t send me to my hospital room until my pain was under control. Oxycodone wasn’t working to control my pain. I ended up having to lie about my pain levels in order to get out of there. I wanted to see my husband (which you can’t do in recovery) but it was too late by the time I got out. My husband, who had been waiting to see me, had to go pick up our kids at daycare and Allenmore wouldn’t let kids visit the hospital (Covid-19).nnOnce in my hospital room, they kept trying to give me oral oxycodone which kept doing nothing. It took 12+ hours to get morphine which finally allowed me to relax just a little. I ended up staying for 3 additional days because they couldn’t figure out how to manage my pain levels on oral oxycodone. I have no history of opioid addiction and no interest in becoming addicted. No one bothered to talk to me about this, though, and instead they spent four days letting me whither in severe pain.nnI understand being careful with opioids. They can be extremely dangerous. If, however, I knew the trauma I would go, though, by their refusal to work with me on my pain, I never would have had the surgery there. This whole experience has been a nightmare!
