The perfect sanctuary in a crazy COVID filled world. If you're looking for a unique local spot that also feels comfortable and safe, look no further. The owners are extremely active and they have a great eye for detail. The drinks are fantastic and the food is spectacular too, my favorite is the beer cheese pretzels. They run daily specials to keep things fresh and they all turn out to be delicious - whoever runs the kitchen has some serious talent. 10/10 would definitely recommend!!

Amazing place. Incredible story behind it. I had big expectations beforehand and it totally exceeded them. The service was some of the best I've had in Tacoma. Super friendly staff. The decor was super cool. I've been there twice and food was great both times. Really good craft beer selection.
Great little bar. Black & white photos adorn the walls, making you feel like you're in an art gallery. The food was excellent and highlighted by the fact they use old family recipes. But the best part was the cocktails. They were running a daily drink special for a Raspberry Mojito made with fresh raspberries that was beyond good. I highly recommend the Thirsty Hound for anyone looking for a nice evening out without breaking the bank!
What an awesome find!!! Friendly service. Their pomegranate tequila drink is ah-mazing!!! You can even get it to go with lime and even a bag of ice!!!! Didn't get to the food but definitely will next time!!!!
