I can't say enough on how impressed I was with all aspects of my care at Multicare Good Sam Hospital. I was seen in their emergency room and I really felt they went above and beyond in my care, scheduled me immediately for follow up tests and care, and made sure that all tests that those doctors would need were performed before I left. I was also impressed with their billing department. My bill was actually correct and they helped me reach out to an outside organization who had billed me incorrectly so I could get that fixed. We have never had a bad experience with Good Sam Hospital.

while the ER will try to rush you out, and the doctors are quite short with you, the nurses in both the ER & in patient floors are the sweetest. they got me through 3 very painful days until the problem was resolved. thanks to the ER the first day I was sent home and told to take a home remedy. after waking up in insane amount of pain, had to go back to the ER and wait 7 hours to be given medicine for pain and start treatment. after their treatments didn’t work, they told me it was time to go home?? I insisted on being admitted and all of my nurses agreed, thanks to them I was able stay overnight and try every option until my issue was finally resolved! thanks nurses of good Sam!

Had a good experience considering why I was there.nHelpful, thoughtful nurses and most of the doctors.n1 doctor could use courses in bedside manners from a more experienced physician.nMy needs were many and met .nMy personnal belongings were misplaced due to room change.nA bunch of folks found my stuff and made me happy.

Poor, poor service. This morning, we were seen by Dr. Stephen J Pieniak, MD. We’re upset to say the least. This doctor’s bedside manner was poor and definitely left something to be desired. The manner in which he speaks to his patients is condescending and impolite. Further, when explaining the symptoms of the condition being experienced, he failed to listen. How can one diagnose the situation if they’re not fully aware of what’s going on? In the future, Stephen, you may benefit from actually listening to what your patients have to say. Also, PLEASE AVOID CALLING FEMALE SANITARY PRODUCTS “rags”. That’s disgusting, impolite, and extremely unprofessional. You’re a doctor, or so you say. Using the terms of what they actually are (i.e tampons and pads) would make you appear more professional and I’d be more likely to trust your diagnosis and aid. If you’re unable to do so or the female system makes you uncomfortable, consider a new profession.
