We were promptly seated and served. Our food was hot and delicious. My husband had the shepherds pie and I had the spicy chicken mac and cheese. He said his pie was very good and filling. Mine was unexpectedly and surprisingly spicy! Just the way I like. This was our first time and we will be back.
We always enjoy the Pub. Marc tried this month's featured burger. It was great! I usually order the Guinness stew and I am never disappointed.
If you have reason to be in the city of Dupont or on I5 between Tacoma and Olympia you owe it to yourself to stop for food and beverage at McNamara's. I have made this one of my favorite stops. Probably been in there several hundred times over the last ten years or so. Never had a bad experience. Just great Irish food and drink.
The food is superb. If you like French Onion soup, try their version made with Guiness. It's to die for!
