Really nice place. Largest aquarium in L.A. By the way, it's mainly saltwater tanks/ saltwater fish/ corals. They had a small selection of freshwater. My main issue is, they advertise the 6,000 gallon saltwater tank on the building, but when I went there, it was closed off. I took off one star because of the size. I took of another because of the price. Many of the larger tanks were over $1,000 where at other aquariums those same ones would be $300. I also took off another for the fact that they closed off the big tank. Although it was worth the visit, would recommend

Phenomenal place to buy any aquarium supplies or aquarium life! They mostly specialize in saltwater tanks, but they have a ton of freshwater life and supply too (brackish too). The staff is extremely friendly and even more knowledgeable. Can't think of a better place to buy fish or aquarium supply. Oh, and they do a great job of Covid measures (all shoppers are required to wash hands on entry).

My family and I drove 2hrs to come here and I am beyond please. I received so much knowledge for the best price FREE. The establishment was so clean and the fish seemed to be healthy and thriving. I was not sold thing for the betterment of the business I was sold things for the betterment of my tank. Customer service was good and to ME the price was good. He even took the time to show us how to set up the Live Rock. Super experience and will make my way back in the future.

I drove 2.5 hours to go to this store to buy corals for my tank. Upon arrival I was really impressed and excited with the huge selection of corals to choose from. Whilst looking an employee informed me that she was removing the sale prices and to grab things before the prices went up. First of all I don’t like being put under pressure like that especially when spending a lot of money on something I’m going to be living with for a long time! I was repeatedly asked if I’d made a decision. After taking some time I had my eye on one particular piece along with quite a few others. When I asked the price I was told that I needed to make a decision on that one and that they couldn’t sell me any others as they were going on Facebook Live at 6:00 PM. I was looking at 4:30 PM!!! The owner came over and started explaining about Facebook Live and that I could go on at 6:00 PM to buy any of the others. Why would I do that when I’m in your store?!?!?! I didn’t drive 2.5 hours to buy on Facebook... not only that... I don’t have a Facebook account!!!! He said he would sell me that one piece if I wanted it but that was it. Talk about being put under pressure and in what world does a store refuse to sell to a customer in their store that has cold hard cash to spend... especially during a pandemic?!?!? Needless to say I turned down the one piece that he was so willing to sell me and I walked away. He came to find me to explain the Facebook Live to me again. He was clearly stressed getting ready for this event. I tried to explain to him that I had driven 2.5 hours to buy from him so to be told that I couldn’t buy was simply ridiculous! Each time I tried to talk he was so rude and just interrupted and talked over me... he didn’t want to listen and was more concerned about his Facebook Live than a live customer with a lot of money to spend. I’ll never step foot in this place again and took my business elsewhere. I took to Google and found a small aquarium right after I left and had a completely different experience. The owner could not do enough to help me. He was so accommodating, didn’t pressure me into buying and gave me a free coral because I’d spent so much money with him. THAT is good and smart customer service and I’ll return to that business because of that. Focus on who is in your store... they are usually there to spend money and with a good experience most people will remain loyal to you too!!!!!

Although the pricing was outrageous I really enjoyed myself. The staff was awesome and very personable. They treated everyone the same and greeted us all with a smile. They have touch pools in here and they are a man by very knowledgeable employees. I got to see the biggest bass that I have ever seen in my life. I didn't really get to see anything that sets this place apart from other aquariums that I've been to, But it was still nice. I would definitely recommend going if you have never been to an aquarium or you just have random money to blow. Other than that there's nothing that makes this place stand out.
