My wife and I were in a last minute scramble to find a place to stay in Ilwaco and we couldn’t have gotten luckier. The hotel itself is beautiful and embodies the aura of the town, and the staff were a joy to interact with. We even made new friends from around the PAC NW at the patio fire.nnBetween the frequent positive interactions, the beautiful location/building, and the complementary breakfast, we loved our stay!
Had a very nice experience on my first visit to the Helm for dinner. The food was great and our service was spot on. We also enjoyed the outside fire after our meal and watched the fishing boats come in, Tuna was reported to be on the lines this day. We will be back. Note for my drinking pals, just beer and wine.

The best hotel you could choose in the Long Beach/Ilwaco area! My Fiancé and I came here for our anniversary and despite COVID we had a wonderful (and safe) experience. They provided everything we could want from complimentary wine and snacks upon our arrival, board games/books, and a delicious breakfast the next morning. I wish I could give 10 stars!
