Mason General Hospital

Had lower back surgery on November 24, 2020. Stayed one night and two days. Best hospital I have ever been to. Not one issue and the food was even good. Best hospital around.

I was billed incorrectly and no one would speak to me about my issue. Beware, don't get your blood drawn at the hospital due to the convenient hours, you will be charged double than if you waited and went to the clinic instead. The only reply about my bill was it's my responsibility to pay. I was charged hundreds of dollars for my preventive wellness appointment that is covered by insurance. But instead they coded my visit as a doctor's visit. They only checked that I have a heartbeat!

They did my lower back surgery there at this hospital Mason general in Shelton it was really nice and I loved all the nursesand I think I would go back for more surgeries are if I had to go to a hospital I go there cuz they were not even know I had to getup and start walking again so I'm learning it all over again but you know what it's worth it I was in room 106 on the bottom floor so yes it was a good I appreciate everyone of you nurses that help me everyone of you nurses that help me out andeveryone of you nurses and doctors that help me nurses and doctors that help me

My father was admitted into ICU for 4 days and was diagnosed with Congestive Heart Failure, the staff were very friendly, nice, & professional. My brother and I flew down from Alaska and the staff were great with informing us what was available for him cause he didn't have insurance or a job.

Emergency room reviewnnPlease only go here if your emergency is urgent enough to where you can’t make it anywhere else.... I came here a few months ago and the doctor did the absolute bare minimum for me and it almost cost me my life. I came in with an infection and they gave me a prescription for antibiotics to pick up the next day. Fast forward to the morning after I saw them and I was so disoriented and in pain I went to Tacoma General and was immediately admitted because I was septic. I stayed for a week on IV antibiotics. Thankfully I was able to make it to TG. The emergency department at Mason General is GARBAGE.
