Worst hospital experience in my life. The Drs are fine but their office staff is incompetent.

When I walked into Enloe thinking this would be a good care facility and I was sadly mistaken. Patient centered care is the last way I would describe this facility. My mom went in for a minor stroke and until the day she left they were giving her the wrong medications. None of the doctors communicated or checked her charts before coming in to the room. I had to explain and advocate every time they came in because they were completely oblivious. They had her on high and low blood pressure medication and I asked them to change it FOR OVER A WEEK and nothing was done until she was discharged. It made no sense and there was a huge lack of cohesion and working together among staff. To top off, they missed one of her main medications being called into the pharmacy. The staff were nice but management is very poor. I am honestly shocked. Their lack of communication does not allow for patients to get better. It allows WAY too much room for error. If I wasn’t there, to advocate for her, she would have left there taking the wrong medications and confused. It seemed like no one was checking their work. Please upgrade your management and patient centered care ethics.

I walked in with extreme abdominal pain, I was crying, and I was doubled over barely able to stand. I did manage to hand over my drivers license and insurance card but what did they do upon receiving it and noticing my intense pain and anguish? They handed me a clip board and told me to fill out information before they would see me. Was my drivers license and insurance card not enough?! The paperwork they made me fill out was literally all available on what I had already handed them. Unknown intense abdominal pain is usually something to be taken seriously, but not at Enloe Medical Center. I wouldn’t be surprised if they have had people pass in their waiting room. Terrible place to go when you need help. I am true my disappointed in you guys. The only reason I’m not giving 1 star is because a nurse walked by me and saw how I was being forced to wait in my condition and told me not to listen to them and to come with her. I hate the front desk people at this place for what they did to me. Horrible excuses for medical providers.nnEdit: How on earth would you make it right? My experience already happened. Give me an email address and I’ll will email but I’m not going to call in and be put on hold with the very people who wronged me. Thank you.

Enloe was absolutely amazing from the moment I got there. They got me in super fast and did everything they needed right away. From the moment I was wheeled in you could see and feel the kindness, caring, and efficiency from their team. I stay for about 6 days with them for surgery. Every nurse, doctor. Food service, to the cleaning people were very polite, professional, took the time to just have a quick chat, and help with anything I needed. I live in Redding and will drive to Enloe for anything anytime. I highly recommend them.nnTo the Enloe team all of you were amazing!!!!! Keep it up!!! Great job and thank you so much from the bottom of my heart. I wish I could remember all of your names but I can’t. Your leaders should give a reward to all of you for going above and beyond and just for being so amazing!!!!nnTake care,nnDanni Smith
