I’ve been coming here for a few years now. I get great amazing service for when I am in need. I would definitely say this is the doctor’s office around.

Dr. Tan is very professional, kind and knowledgeable! Me and my husband was so glad that we found Dr. Tan through the reviews from other Yelp users. My husband got Bell's Palsy and Shingle in his ear at the same time. His left face suddenly cannot move and the left ear was so painful with blisters. He went to emergency room prior to Dr. Tan, the face and the ear only recovered 30% after medicine. We searched for a doctor to do follow up, we don't have insurance. We're so glad that we found Dr. Tan, he told my husband that the emergency room didn't give him enough dosage for the medicine, so Dr. Tan immediately gave my husband a shot. After that shot, the Bell's Palsy and Shingle totally go away after a week. And the bill is very reasonable and affordable. I remember it's like only $180 something. Dr. Tan will kindly explain everything. Very knowledgeable and professional. And the front desk personnel are very helpful, nice and efficient.nnJust last week, I had a sudden cough that was so deep and unbearable. I was coughing so hard and couldn't get to sleep for nights. And one day, I saw my right eye was red and painful. I was so worried because I've never had that before. My husband immediately bring me to Dr. Tan. Oh the good thing is, you can just walk in to Dr. Tan's office and wait. No appointment needed. Dr. Tan use the device to hear my lung and pick a sample from my throat. He quickly diagnosed I have Bronchitis and bacteria infection in the eye. He gave me antibiotics and eye drops which is very reasonable price in pharmacy. The bill for Dr. Tan is only $109. After 1 week, my cough go away and after 2 drops of the eye drop, my bacteria infection in eye was gone. My cough usually is really hard to deal with, thankful to Dr. Tan, now I'm back to normal! And next time when I'm sick, I know someone can save me. Thanks Dr. Tan! I'm glad we found you! And Dr. Tan also can give good recommendation for other specialist as well.

I have no health insurance and didn't know where to go when I wrenched my back. I called a few physician offices and they couldn't (or wouldn't) see me. I didn't feel that an E.R. was the appropriate place for me and would cost me an arm and a leg. I called this walk-in clinic and they gave an appointment in right away. Dr. Tan was wonderful, very welcoming and understanding. Explained everything to me in simple terms. I felt better, just to know I was in professional hands. A really wonderful service.

Went in with an unknown bite my leg. I thought it might have been a snake bite even though I never saw or heard it. Dr. Tan thought it may have been a spider bite. He gave me 2 antibiotics and sent me on my way. Over the next 2 days I got extremely ill and the pain and swelling got much worse. I called several times and the nurse call me back once and wasn't very concerned. She said I could always go to the emergency room. On the third day I tried calling and got no response. I went to the emergency room and the ER doctor immediately recognized it as a rattle snake bite. I had emergency surgery to save my leg. 2 hours later.nnI would not ever use Dr. Tan or the clinic ever again!

I have successfully visited Dr. Tan's office 10 times for various family members. Its quite a range of problems too. My Thai mother in law had a chronic stomach ache that was managed nicely by Dr. Tan. Then I have visited for colds and flu, with great advice and proper medication management. The kids are 19,15 and 7 years old and all have enjoyed the visit. Everyone in my family likes Dr. Tan. He's smart, and communicates well. The price is quite reasonable. I prefer to self pay rather than use my PPO insurance elsewhere because the quality of care is higher, price reasonable, and outcomes good. I've even used his connections for self pay MRI at $500 a pre-negotiated rate. I even send clients to San Ramon from my physical therapy clinic in Emeryville because Dr. Tan knows about sports injuries. I truly think that Dr. Tan's model of care is what should exist across the board in the US. Insurance firms have biased medical decision making, and so Dr. Tan's model of self pay is affordable, accessible and effective. I'm really excited to have him as a resource in San Ramon. Recommended without reservation.
