I didn't know that I could ever be so excited about a bar of soap that I'd want to write a review for one. It is incredibly dry here Utah, since it is a mountain desert. The average level of moisture is apparently less than that of the Sahara Desert (which I believe since I run my humidifier at full blast 24/7 just to keep the humidity at 40% in the house). I walk and hike dogs for a living, which means I am outside 4-12 hours 5-7 days each week. Between the dryness and pollution, I spend a lot of time putting on lotion so that I do not become a scaly lizard. So much time that I could probably learn how to play piano, or teach myself a new language with all of the time I spend trying to fix the dryness. Amara Marie's classic goats milk soap bar is the only bar of soap I have ever used that did not make my skin dryer coming out of the shower. Instead of having itchy and tight skin, it's actually soft. And it smells good too! There are a lot of options for cheap soap in the grocery store, but that's exactly what you get - a cheaply made product. The premium for AM is worth it, especially if you care about what you are putting on your skin.
