We went here after going to the Voorhees Nature Preserve, and they had so much outdoor seating, it was wonderful. There are a bunch of picnic tables in the front, and additional seating in the back, so it's really great for staying socially distanced. The beer is also really good, with the peach ginger and the winter ale a favorite of our group. They don't have any food on site (except for bags of chips), but we got pizza from Angelos .4 miles away and bought it back. We're going to come back to hike Westmoreland State Park and come back here for sure!
Cool little place... Great Beer. Friendly bartender and owner. Say hello to Maple...the resident dog
Great tasting beer. Veteran family run. Awesome patio area in the front with corn hole , a fire pit and picnic benches. Nice covered seating in the back.
Montross Brewery is a fun brewery with a community feel to it and staff that is nice and welcoming. It has a variety of beers to choose from, and their delicious homemade NNK ginger ale for non-beer drinkers. They have introduced a cool concept of a pop-up bistro, bringing in guest chefs to make their specialties. Tonight when I visited they were offering tacos and nachos which were good.nRecently expanded, adding another beer garden and nature trail in the back of the property, you will have plenty of room to spread out. There is a stage in this garden where you can listen to local music. Unscheduled musicians occasionally visit the brewery and play for the fun of it. This reminded me of my experience in Ireland, where friends get together at their local pub and jam just for the enjoyment of it all.nI highly recommend checking out this brewery to experience the beer, people, food, and what makes the Northern Neck great.
Very nice place very good beers. I'll be back in the spring
