This is a FANTASTIC restaurant that is a HIDDEN GEM on rte 1! From the moment you walk into the door of this place, you sense that something is very, very different... very respectful and personal. The serving staff is top-rate and the rooms are INCREDIBLE, especially if you are looking for a space to reserve for an event, such as a baby shower or wedding or bar mitzvah. The walls speak stories to those that have the willingness to listen, and you will find that going here is more of an experience and not just eating excellent food. The menu ranges from Americana to ethnic, and the owner is as personable as the staff. Ask about their discounts for first responders and consider eating here, even if it is for carry-out (though tables are separated so that parties are more than 6 feet apart for social distancing). If you are a local or even if you are in the area visiting, this place, however, is decorated so uniquely on the inside, you really must consider stopping by, as you feel like you have discovered a hidden room that belongs inside the Smithsonian with all of the precious artifacts around. Ask about their to-go menu, reserving the space for special events, and Managers' food specials. :)

What can I say... good food...drinks...ahhhh and remarkable history to be seen. As you walk throughout the restaurant I could see the authentic memorabilia from years ago.. A MUST SEE!! Another point.. which most places does not have .. when you come in and sit down..Mr. Wayne Kelley greets you..speaks to you.. You feel right a home!! I will be a frequent visitor !!

We are a military family. We used to love coming here. We moved back to Stafford and we were excited to eat here again. They took our drink order. Then they gave us the menu. They had 3 entrees in the menu. Nothing like on the internet when we checked it out before our arrival. Then we ordered. They were out of a lot of things. When we got our food, three out of the four meals were made correctly. My salmon was dry, potatoes had no flavor, vegetables were soggy and overcooked. My son ordered bacon grilled cheese with loaded potatoes. He doesn’t like grilled cheese without bacon. They brought the food and said, “we ran out of bacon” and put the plate in front of him anyway. So, the loaded part of the meal was not loaded and was bland. The waiter was very nice so we tipped him well. It wasn’t his fault this once great place went down the drain. We will never come here again and this used to be one of our favorite restaurants. So unfortunate that new management/ownership can ruin something so quickly.

I went for brunch on Saturday saw it on Facebook nice place inside music was good food was mediocre needed seasoning and very over priced. They offer no dessert. The entree was small. Mimosa was good staff friendly. Very disappointed I could have eaten brunch in DC or Maryland with better food plus drinks for what I spent here and if you say you make homemade biscuits and it comes with the meal I never received mine for the 2 entree’s I purchased.

This restaurant came highly recommended from fellow Marine families. Yesterday a family member graduated from OCS and a reservation was made for 12:00. Upon arrival there was only a handful of people at best in the restaurant. We had a group of 13. Orders were placed for the brunch menu...eggs, waffles, toast, bacon sausage and gravy. Nothing fancy or time consuming to cook. It took well over an hour for food to arrive and it came very sporadically and no rhyme or reason on who received the ordered food. People of different tickets received food at different times. And when the food did arrive, it was warm at best. Spoke to the owner/manager. She apologized and stated the kitchen got overwhelmed. However, we had a reservation and no one was there yet when we were placing our order. Owner offered to take 25% OFF each ticket. Tickets arrived and only 20% taken off AND the prices had increased by $2 per entree. When asked the owner stated there had been a fee increase and menus did not reflect yet.nIt was a very disappointing and sad. as there were two families of marines that now say they will never go back. The atmosphere and decorations were really neat but the food and service (not the server) was terrible.nCannot recommend.
