This place is pretty cool honestly. Their food is really almost down to earth in a sense. Flavorful and juicy. Exactly what you would want in terms of seafoodnStaff was friendly and the place was clean and not super loud. The inside environment legitimately makes me feel like the establishment belongs down at the beach vs colonial heights. So I guess they're doing it right. I got frog legs as an appetizer. They were pretty good.

Ate there with family after a funeral visitation the other night. They were very accommodating for us in setting up a space to accommodate us and in a safe manner. I think the building is an old Golden Corral having been repurposed. The facility was clean, service was more than what would have been expected. Their seafood was cooked and served in a tasteful way. They made is feel very welcome and much appreciated. Thank You Captain Tom for hospitality!

A local favorite. I always have a taste for Tom’s on Mondays, the only day they’re closed. The rest of the week it’s usually packed. Great seafood: fried, baked or broiled ,at reasonable prices. The new bar addition makes it convenient to pop in after work for a drink , place a to-go order and watch a quick game on tv.

Updated reviewnnI'd give an infinite amount of negative stars if I could.nnWhile I understand, seating has to be limited but I HATE being seated at a booth. I let that be known. Yet, still seated at a booth. Staff really needs to listen rather than doing whatever they want.nnThe prices have escalated. You can no longer double up on the selections in create your own platter. Many of the meals have increased by $10+.nnAfter waiting 30 minutes to be seated at a booth that I didn't want and another 20 minutes for a waiter to come to then be told that I can't choose what I want on a platter.nnEat here at your own risk. I no longer recommend them.nnLooks can be deceiving. Now what does that mean? When I arrived, I honestly thought I was at the wrong place. While this place looks like a dump, the food was good. The portions are large. The place was packed for lunchtime on a Wednesday. People were constantly coming and going. This was my first time here. I’ve seen and heard the commercials. Coworkers have mentioned how great this place is and they’re all right. They offer happy hour. There’s a specific menu just for lunch. I wish they had a website online for people to see what they have to offer. It appears to be a small mom and pop restaurant. They do offer a 10% discount to military and veterans. Best of all, the servers were friendly.

Food was amazing, only 4 stars because 1 the service was kind of slow and 2 for some reason they don’t have Mac & cheese .. but again food was amazing
