Try the tocos SanDiego.
We have been there many times and have always enjoyed the food. Great variety. You get a generous amount of food for the price and the atmosphere and people are terrific! Highly recommend it.
Friendly staff, good food. The taco salad is not full of lettace and beans, which is great! The patio outside is perfect for nice weather.
The most recent times I've gone to El CaporalnThe service has not been good at all. At first the waiters would not take our order, we waited about 10 minutes and then we had to get up and ask for someone to take it. They would forget to refill our drinks even when all our drinks were empty on the table. Any service we did want we would have to ask for it. The food was good though, but when we asked for the boxes for the leftovers, we had to ask for it twice and it took them about 10 minutes for the bill and the boxes to come to our table. It also wasn't a particularly busy business hours at that moment so that doesn't give a good reason for the bad service.
WONDERFUL Experience EVERY time. The customer service is awesome, the food is delicious and I felt 1000% safe during my first dine-in since the beginning of Covid-19. Each time I think of Mexican food, I think of El Capital Mexican Restaurant in Colonial Heights. I make sure no matter where I am, I wait so I can eat from there. To know how wonderful the staff and food is, how easy and safe they make the experience as well as how helpful they are when trying to understand what each dish is or has, keeps me going back and keeps me a loyal customer. I definitely recommend to follow their Facebook for deals and remember that Taco deals are Wednesdays!!!!
