Pike3400

I really enjoy living here- the pool is great, the gym is useful (but a bit small), the maintenance team is quick and responsive. The location is great with a lot of great restaurants on Columbia Pike!

I've been here about a month. Overall, it is a nice apartment complex, but there are some downfalls. First, I would highly recommend that you get a unit that does NOT face Columbia Pike. This road and the intersection with South Glebe Rd is extremely busy and loud, and there's probably about 10-15 ambulances and fire trucks that drive past every day. Second, the HVAC system is very odd. It does not appear to be a closed system within the apartment, since I am able to hear neighbors through the ceiling vents in my bathroom. You are also billed separately for HVAC here (it apparently does not fall under electricity, which makes no sense) so my thinking is that you are also paying to heat/cool the hallways, amenities, etc. Build quality, apartment interiors, and the security of the building are all good. There does seems to be a different concierge every time I go down to the lobby, but that is more of a staffing issue that needs to be addressed by Greystar. Guest parking is essentially non-existent, which can be frustrating. Overall, Pike 3400 is a good apartment complex and a decent value if you can get past some of the downfalls.

Property went down hill once Kettler left. Bozzuto did a decent job but ther were some concerning issues. Fire alarm going off consistently, elevators going down often. I believe they did there best.nnNow in the hands of Greystar I hope for improvement. Already feel and sense promising change. Location is good. Price is good. My AC went out for 5 days but Greystar fixed it and sent me a little thank you for your patience card. Overall can't complain.

Been great so far! On a scale of 1-10 I would rate it a 8 out of 10! And I love the people who work throughout the building from Luis in leasing office, Gabby and Jordan at the front, Ali and Mohammad of the maintenance team, and the housekeepers - you all have been so kind and fun to see regularly.

UPDATED REVIEW - I can't believe I'm saying this but things actually got better with Greystar in terms of stability. No more alarms. Staff is polite and accommodating? It's kind of nice.
