I’ve been in 3 times now and every time they are SO nice, they really want to know your pet and their needs and are super helpful. They gave my dog treats while we shopped and sent us home with food samples! They were great at answering questions I had as a new dog owner. There’s also cute stuff for my cat too!

We love Dog River Pet Supplies! We recently transitioned our dog to a raw diet and Sean was so helpful in making suggestions and even followed up with an email to make sure we had all the information we needed. Just this weekend we went back to stock up and we got more helpful nutritional advice on changes to our cat's diet and left armed with several samples for our picky girl to try. We love coming in because we always get great advice and are encouraged to bring back anything our pets don't like. So far, Fletcher and Amelia have been big fans of all the recommendations and I love having such a great local store that can meet the nutritional needs of our four legged family members.
Go to pet store in Hood River. Sean, Molly and their team are warm, wonderful animal lovers. They have a fantastic inventory of top quality food and treats.
I honestly didn't even know this shop existed, I just didn't want to go to The Dalles to visit Petco. But let me tell you, this place has a really good selection of limited ingredient and grain free foods. They have a refrigerated section with food, goat milk and stock soups for your pet. The lady helping me was so polite and helpful with everything. If you're in the market for pet supplies, stop by this place. It's at least worth a look, because you'll probably find exactly what you're looking for.
