Consistency should be a top priority at any restaurant.. the first steak sandwich was so good I had to order again just to be let down. It’s tough when you’re set up for a great expectation and it’s not delivered. Service is generally slow here. My steak sandwich on the second time only had spicy mustard and greens. It was missing a few ingredients.
Nice restaurant. Would like to see more Alaska seafood on the menu. Nice date night.
Had to send my steak back. My friends chicken was rubbery. My other friends steak was over cooked. Service was ok. Food was just bad. I would Gove 0 starts for them now.
Atmosphere was nice, prices not too bad but the food was average. I had the Butcher's Secret, with roasted mushroom risotto. for the price the Butcher's Secret wasn't bad at all, it was cooked perfectly and wasn't a bad cut of meat. The risotto on the other hand was bland and would have made Emeril Lagasse flip his wig! It was a clump of rice, no run to it.
I've had great dinner here before. This time was an exception. It took over an hour to get our food and when we did, it was less than stellar. The server was quite nice and attentive. I assume the kitchen was overwhelmed.
