Great food. Amazing interior and set up. Sadly, the service was below acceptable. My waitress seemed to think that I was a lost child and didn't really want to serve me (push the check to me as soon as she could and regardless of my multiple polite thank-yous, she didn't say a word or acknowledge anything beyond the orders I put in).

The Red Dog Saloon during the regular cruise ship season serves cruise ship passengers out the door, but locals would avoid it.nnDuring this pandemic time, the saloon is much quieter, not so great for the saloon, but us locals whom usually wouldn't consider coming here, is nice quiet atmosphere is very much appreciated, except when it's loud with voiceterous customers.nnWe've been coming about once a week for months for their food. The chef there cooks very good food, but not normally for the cruise ship season during the busy times.nnWe didn't care for their Prime Rib dinner, tasting like just a big slab of salty meat. However other items off their menu has provided us some pretty tasty meals during this period.nnFlat iron steak, philly cheese steak, Yukon bison burger, pizza, salmon cooked rare requested, salad were all good. The popcorn and their soup were way overly salty. The dessert chocolate peanut butter cake was dense, decadent, but overly sweet.

Great place to hang out. The wings were great!

Real western-style saloon in downtown Juneau. Noisy, rowdy, and raucous. Souvenirs in adjacent store. Good pub grub, beer, wine, and hard drinks. Good service, good times, great decor with animal mounts and interesting memorabilia. Lots of photos on the walls. Looking for some quiet - go upstairs. Clean bathrooms on ground floor. Worth the visit. Reasonably priced.
