First time ever, writing a google review:nnWhen we were told it was an hour wait and my wife asked to use the restroom, the hostess said she could not let us, but that my wife could use a bush or go to the gas station down the street.nThe waitress was also aloof, and seemed disinterested in caring for us. For example, she asked if we wanted condiments for the pizza after we had finished half of it; and avoided eye contact when walking by the table.nThe pizza wasn’t bad. Tasted like an Amy’s frozen pizza that I could make at home, but with a better crust.nThe place downtown is much better.
Great pandemic dining experience. They have heated outdoor seating a covered patio that has great airflow and overhead heating. Solstice has always been a local favorite of ours as the pizza is the best. Now, during these times it feels safe to go out and have some great food and drinks and do it safely!
We stopped for dinner on our way home from Eugene. I ordered the chicken sandwich and it was the best I've ever had. My wife had the pear salad and loved it. Very nice and thoughtful staff.
Very tasty, especially the starters! The arancini was fantastic, the pear blue cheese salad is a classic, the beet fennel salad was very tasty too. We had the country girl cherry pizza on gluten free crust - it is a thin crust, so don’t expect any of the fluffy airiness of a regular crust but it was pretty good, not gummy or crumbly like some gf items. The pizza was not the stand out for us though. We also tried the wood fired s’more and it’s really unique - it’s also intense so I recommend sharing it with more than 2 people, we felt sugar overload eating half.
Had the most delicious wonderful meal and such a great dining experience! Protocol for covid was very clear and well executed by the staff. Drinks, service, and food were all phenomenal! This was my second time visiting this restaurant and I will definitely be back.
