All staff including our guide Ken were excellent. Very knowledgeable of the area and where to take us. My wife and I had a great time and will definitely go back. We felt like you couldn't beat the price for how long we were out fishing. We both had a great time.
Booked a full day float trip down the Madison with a buddy of mine. Our guide was very friendly, knowledgeable, and worked very hard to make our experience unique and memorable. Highly recommend the Tackle Shop!
John and Nick were our guides. They couldn’t have been more professional and fun!! It was my fist time fly fishing and these guys helped me have the most fun trip I could imagine. Oh their lunches are awesome too! Ghost ranch - clutch!
A neighbor and I have made an annual fall trip to the Madison River from the Oregon Coast for several years. Our favorite stop before heading to the river for a week is always The Tackle Shop for the latest intel including fly and technique recommendations, last minute gear additions and licenses. The staff are always friendly and super helpful.
Had an awesome day fishing with and getting to know Hank Kuntzelman, a young man who knows the river like he's been fishing it for 50 years! All the guys in the shop were super helpful and hooked me up with the hot flies too. If you're fishing near Ennis, you gotta stop here!
