The whole medical staff here has always been the best at actually listening to and solving my medical issues for a decade now. The staff never makes it difficult for me to make an appointment and are always friendly when checking me in. When I lived out of state for a while I would sometimes schedule visits here when I visited home, even though it was out of network for me at the time, because it was worth someone actually listening and helping me instead of blowing me off, like most other clinics I have been to. I have had good experiences with multiple doctors, PAs, and nurses here. Highly recommend.

I made an appointment with Dr. Lee B. over a month ago. I had to reschedule my upcoming appointment another 2 weeks out. It’s really rude to make someone wait over 6 weeks to see a doctor. There needs to be a better system for new patients.

I’ve been going here for years. My primary is here and I have also visited the walk-in clinic numerous times. The doctors are fantastic, always. They spend a lot of time with you and really care. You can tell they love what they’re doing and see you as a person, not just a number. There is one receptionist (male) that has been pretty rude on multiple occasions but it’s such a small thing when you consider the level of service you’re getting from the physicians. Highly recommend!

Great service. Always easy to go in and schedule and appointment. Would suggest scheduling in advance because they are so popular and very busy. The Walk-In clinc staff are always so nice and helpful.

I do not usually post reviews, but as a medical professional, I feel the need to share my experience, especially when I live in an affluent community and expect a certain standard of care. A few weeks ago, I visited the walk-in clinic. I know not to expect much from a walk-in appointment. I had a fever, cough, congestion, chills and sweats, fatigue, and an elevated resting HR. The CNP in charge of my case wanted to send me home with a z-pac when I had only been symptomatic for a little over 48 hours. I asked if I could be tested for the flu based on my symptoms, and the fact that I had a few family members who had the flu this year. She reluctantly tested me. Positive. I asked for tamiflu, and she said it would not help because I’ve been symptomatic for 5 days. I repeated my timeline for symptoms, and she once again reluctantly prescribed me the tamiflu, but said it probably wouldn’t help. She asked what pharmacy, and I gave her Smiths LA. Left my appointment.nn2 hours later, prescription has not been called in. (Note to self: always get a paper prescription, do not let them offer an “escript” that they are supposed to email in...). 5 hours later I call MANNM to figure out where my prescription is, and no one knows, and state that the CNP hasn’t put it in yet. My husband goes to MANNM to figure out what is going on. Turns out my prescription was sent to Nambe drug, even though no one could seem to tell me that over the phone. So...I completely managed my own case, and get a $50 bill in the mail for the flu test. I’m sorry, but this is unacceptable, and unfortunately not the first time or the first clinic in Los Alamos that has completely mismanaged my care. I’ve lived here my whole life, and once upon a time, we had good medical care here. What happened? I’ve spoken with multiple friends and colleagues who have moved here from out of state, and they are shocked at our medical care, and state that it ABSOLUTELY is not like this everywhere.
