CaT's Pourhouse

Nice place. They draw some pretty good crowds there so plan ahead and arrive early. Ordered a Club Sandwich which was excellent, but the sweet potato cottage fries were stone cold. I didn't say anything (my bad), as I was eating and listening to a presentation. By the way, it is a good place to go for a business luncheon or meeting. I thought the servers did a nice job. We were there for over two hours and were not rushed to move along, which I appreciated. All in all a good experience (except for the cold fries); I would definitely go back again.

We ordered dinner from here tonight and I was really excited. I had heard good reviews and had high expectations. We did take out and the staff was nice. Our food was ready on time and they got our order exactly right. I feel the prices were more than fair for the size of the servings. We ordered the chicken fried steak dinner. The chicken fried steak was fine. It was not tough or greasy. However, I would have been happy to pay a little more for real mashed potatoes and gravy. I was really disappointed to find instant mashed potatoes in my dinner, and the gravy tasted like it came from a packet or jar. At least if I ever go back I know to order something else.

Always amazing food and great service. Some people say..oh but it is pricey!? My son and I got an appetizer and two lunch meals and was under $50 with leftovers to go home. Honestly after the appetizer alone we didn't even need to order our meals. The best restaurant in Pwest hands down.

Table of 5, entered at 7:20. We order an appetizer and entrées. IT TOOK 45 MINUTES for appetizer and another 45 for food. I get that things are not always running smooth but zero communication from the waiter set me over the edge. I see nothing that sets this place apart or any reason to go back. Best just to spend your money and more importantly time elsewhere.
