Lu's Main Street Cafe

We are visiting friends in Ft Garland and ate breakfast at Lu's a couple of times. The server was very friendly and attentive. My coffee was always warmed up quickly. The food was great. One morning I ordered the cinnamon roll which was delicious! I highly recommend this restaurant!

Not good. As a long time customer, I’ve been to Lu’s at least once a month for years. No more for me. On my last visit, one of the employees (older Hispanic male possibly in his 60’s) was staring at me from the moment I entered. He later came to my table and made some of the most inappropriate comments I have ever heard - all while Lu was in the back cooking. If that wasn’t bad enough, the food was disgusting and my silverware and wine glass was dirty. Don’t waste your time on this place!

Driving the truck it's always hard to find a place to park it that has a good restaurant attached. I really enjoyed the breakfast I had a steak which was perfect. The people there were great highly recommended truck parking for about 12 trucks if needed nice place

So thankful this place was open! Most everything we passed was closed. Some locals recommended this place and it was perfect. Delicious food, good prices. Chocolate cake was AMAZING!! Friendly staff.

The inside was very nice. The wait staff was friendly. The food was good.nThe only draw back was how long it took to get our food. I did hear one of the waitresses mention to a local seated nearby that there were some current staffing issues, so I imagine that's the reasoning.
