Island Pour House

place use to be awesome. The food use to be good but apparently they dont have the food anymore and barely have any alcohol.

I would give them 0 stars if I could. A business is only as good as the owners. Well the owners here are liars, cheats, and cowards. My husband plays Mens League Baseball on the island and was approached via email by the owners of Pour House OFFERING to sponsor his team. The coaches went down and met the owners, decided on an amount, a date to pick up the money, etc. The team as promised had patches made to represent Island Pour House stitched on their jerseys and went into the bar after multiple games to spend money and show face. On 4 different occasions the coaches followed up on how and when to get the money. They were given the run around each time. They would be told to go to the bar and would show up to be told by a bartender that the money wasn't there or the bar wasn't even open. Now the owner is ghosting the team; not even answering texts. It's not about the money, sponsorship is nice but not necessary. It's about the lying and scheming. You don't reach out to someone and offer something and then disappear. You don't put your business's name out there on something and not hold up your end of the bargain. Not to mention the coaches are in this awkward position mid season of having to find that money somehow to complete their league fees (now making them look bad). Its just not a good look for an owner or a business. If he does this regarding something he offered to do for someone, imagine what he would do in other situations. Unprofessional COWARD.

Great place, nice vibe, good music. I come all the way from North Shore to this place.
