Outback Steakhouse

The wife and I came here because we had a gift card. Haven't been to an Outback in a while, partially because we weren't impressed the previous few times. This time, the food was pretty good. Prices were a little better than I remembered. The server was even bringing the food out at reasonable times. We didn't have to wait forever and it didn't all come out at once. Plus, when she came back with the credit card I used for what the gift card didn't cover, she came back and told me that she recognized my card indicated that I am or was in the military, so she gave me their heroes discount. Not many restaurants give veterans discounts other than Veterans Day, so this was a pleasant surprise. What really impressed me was that 1) she noticed it in the first place, and 2) she took it upon herself to give me the discount. Most servers would have either not realized that my bank is associated with military service, or wouldn't have cared to inform me of any discount. It's really hard to get me to give out 5 stars, but this server represents the CUSTOMER SERVICE that the world NEEDS so badly to bring back! I only regret I didn't get her name, so I could let the management know how she made us feel!

Service was great, food was all overcooked

The food was good, our server was good, the operation was not. The wait time was twice as long as the estimate, and the bill was wrong. We had to drive back up there to correct it, which the manager was nice about. All told, I would have chosen someplace else.

I love outback and the service was very disappointing to say the least. We were seated at a bar high top which would have been fine if the chairs didn’t feel like they were going to fall apart. The bartender was our waiter and we waited over 20 minutes for him to even get our drinks. He slammed the drinks down and walked away without even taking our order. He was also sweating so bad that a drop was on our table. The food took even longer but was very good. I did place a to go order which he asked a manager to bring out and she said she was too busy while standing there. Waited another 25 minutes for that to come out. Was there a total of 2 and a half hours. Wish things went better I love it here

Texas Roadhouse had no grill. Longhorn was packed. I've never been to an Outback Steakhouse in my 43 years. Saw the menu and prices... I don't like spending money & not being pleased. Tell you what, I'd rather spend the extra money and eat here. Steaks grilled perfectly. Worth it. Our server Sean was excellent and on top of everything we needed. We'll be back. Good job.
