The Phoenix Web Collective is part free store, makers space, and a local artists cubby gallery. The free store side includes housewares, pantry goods, baby and children toys/clothes, shoes, books, movies, etc. The space is organized and clean. Clothes are separated into sizes on divided shelves on the walls. Don't miss this spot!! The clothes are GREAT!!!! Also a great place for gifts! I have found perfect unique records and other cool stuff. They DO NOT take or sell items or clothes that are stained or poor quality. Do you miss watching movies on a VHS? Well now you can rent a VHS player and any video cassette from the phoenix web collection. Its a funky, punky place to hang in the Catskills. Anyone can take anything on the free store side, if you are able to, please make sure you give to their donation jar.
A rare find: a free thrift store, and a well managed one at that. It's supported by donation, so definitely do so if you have the means to support them.
This is must stop on your Main St, Hunter NY tour. There is a wide selection of items and local art and crafts helped by a Friendly kind staff.
