Boot-fitting service was the best I've received. These guys listened to my issues, measured my feet, and took me seriously when I asked for a lot of room. Every other boot fitter I've been to has had to work on my boots multiple times. Bob did it right the first time.nnI put their service to the test with an ascent/descent of Mt. Washington. At -15 degree Fahrenheit, the extra room made a difference in providing adequate blood flow to my toes. Since my foot wasn't being pushed back, I didn't have my typical heel blisters. Comfort was drastically improved. Bring these fellas some beer - they deserve it!
What a unique and fun ski shop! Everyone is friendly and has a wealth of knowledge. I primarily talked to Mike and he helped me pick out an awesome Patagonia micro-puff jacket / mid layer. The service, expertise and shop tunes is why you should buy local!
These guys are awesome. I bought a ski remotely and had them do the binding mount for me. Helped me a ton solving the problems of not being local. Definitely recommend these guys!
Couldn’t be more pleased with the products and service at Fire on the Mountain. I recently purchased some ski boots from there and the quality of the product was terrific. More importantly, Bob and his staff walked me through the fitting process step by step and offered their recommendations and professional advice for which boots were best for my needs. I will always shop at Fire on the Mountain for my ski related needs!
