My experience was bad. Not only I was there for 2 hours. I did a copay for $45 and still got another bill. Not a professional place. I was charged for things I dont understand.

I would never recommend going to Oakbrook Allergists, if you want allergy treatment. While the nurses and secretaries were always very kind, this practice put me on a subclinical dosage schedule with only placebo results to show for it. (I thought I saw results, I got retested and realized I didn't, I likely thought that since I started taking more medication during the time I started coming to Oakbrook Allergists).nnThis place will put you on a very low and frequent dosage to minimize the risk of reaction to you and maximize the amount of payments they get. Granted, if that is what you want, great. Just know that it will likely never get you to the relief you are looking for. Any benefits on their ultraconservative dosages will likely be from the placebo effect. After 3 years and 3 months I was retested at another, more legitimate and ethically practicing, allergy clinic. In 6 visits, I will reach the same dosage as 3 years 3 months at Oak Brook Allergists. Oak Brook Allergists practice unethically and do not appear to follow evidence based clinical results. I will be reaching 1:1 serums eventually for reference at the new place. Absolutely ridiculous.nnTips for finding an allergist: get retested at a specific time interval to ensure clinical results over placebo, do not let them milk your insurance and your time on 1-10,000 and 1-1,000 injections, ask at what matinence dosage the current research shows clinical results for the majority of people (allergy test results, not placebo).nnBest of luck searching, if I could take back my time and money at this place I would.

I think they’re okay to go to with minor issues, or easily controlled asthma and allergies. But I recently had an asthma attack, Ive decided to find another doctor.

I went there they told me I will just pay the Co payment only. After that I found a bill for 230$ for allergy test which was negative and they were confirming that no more payments in addition to the original Co payment. So depressed because they should verify the benefits before giving me the service which will never cost this amount.
