I have been a patient at Parkview for many years with a great outcome however I tried to get an emergency treatment for a bad back. Which they would only able to give me an appointment in 2weeks the pain and loss of function could not wait so I went to Midwest orthopedic clinic and was treated in an hour. Parkview you need to fix this problem as you will be losing many patients.

I tore my ACL playing soccer at college - I was devastated. My coach and trainers recommended I go see Dr. Shah. He spent a lot of time with me discussed the injury, the surgery, the recovery, and went out of his way to help me get my MRI right away and talked to my parents to calm them as well. My surgery went very well, and I plan to be back on the pitch in no time. Dr. Shah is the best surgeon around and has helped a lot of athletes like me get back to their passion. He truly cares.

For this facility to specialize in orthopedics THEY AREN'T WELL EQUIPPED AT ALL for the patients.nMy son had screws in his legs and couldn't walk up the stairs... there were no wheelchairs the receptionist says PEOPLE KEEP STEALING THEM... okay so she finds us a wheelchair (that was broken and did not allow us to elevate the leg).. then the elevator is so small that it was nearly impossible to fit inside.. not to mention the dang door kept closing on us. I ABSOLUTELY DREAD GOING BACK TO THIS PLACE.

We had Dr. Shah. The first issue is they send you to get x-rays before even talking to you so I guess they are just hoping to get the right image. He literally didn't even let us explain what happened. My dad was having pain when he breathed deeply but the pain was on his back not the lung. He sent us to a pulmonologists as soon as my dad said it was when he breathed deeply. He didn't even let us finish our sentence before he rushed us out the door. We saw a pulmonologists who said it was obviously not a lung problem and we should see an orthopedic doctor. We had much better quality of care from a student at UIC than this guy.

They give me a 9:30 appointment and told me over the phone to come 15 minutes earlier which I did... they took my ID card and give me a lots off paperwork to fill out information that they already have from my doctor who transferred me ...so I set down and started filling out the information after few minutes the receptionist call me and say we have to reschedule you for another day ud83eudd14I said why ? She said your appointment at 9:30 am and I was in the building at 9:15 am so what in the world ud83eudd28... she said I should've been their at 9 am ud83dude44but the appointment at 9:30 ... so I miss my flight☹... if they really want to take care off me they took me in even if I was 15 minutes late. They got me more stress than what I'm already and I cancel everything... I won't even go back for a million dollars... waist of time. Most doctors have you wait outside for hours as they want but if you one minute off your appointment they don't take you .. that's why I can't stand doctor some time because you may die waiting for your appointment then this sh## happens...
