The food is good and not drenched with grease and oil like other Mexican places. The chips were fresh and seemingly made in house. I had a steak burrito. They use black beans instead of pinto, grateful for the healthier choice. Would go again.
The value is just not there. Ordered through Uber Eats, got the stuffed jalapeños and chicken burrito. The jalapeños were 12 dollars ... there were 3 of them!! That's 4 dollars per jalapeño! And they weren't big ones either. They were pretty good, but again, that's not enough. I see that it's only 10 if you order directly from them, but I wouldn't pay more than 5-6 dollars for an appetizer this size. At 10 dollars it's almost priced as an entree so you expect to be able to share, but ain't nobody getting one of my 3 jalapeños.nnThe chicken burrito was fine, not great but not bad either, but it wasn't wrapped well. It was square, so it didn't close properly
Nice atmosphere, good food
As we waited for a table folks at an outside table left. I asked and they quickly cleaned that table for us. I asked if we could look at menus while they cleaned and setup, they have single-use printed menus- nice. I shared the carne asada ($23) with my husband and still had a little leftover. Asked for medium rare prep and it was juicy and delicious! The salsa and fresh chips that come to the table as you order were perfect other than the salsa ran out too soon. They offered a high chair and water cup for our toddler- we used the chair only. They were pretty prompt and friendly, they even came 5 minutes after food served to make sure everything was tasty and ask if we needed anything else.
Was pretty good and close to authentic Mexican food. Food portions are right. The chips were excellent and fresh. The drinks were just as good too. At first, service was a bit slow to get order started seated at the bar area. Other than that, it was an overall good experience. I'd come back and try them again.
