I had my blood test yesterday 8/24/2020 around 8:30 am at Hall Health Center lab. When the nurse put a needle into my arm, I felt extremely painful.nI felt something was wrong immediately because I had several blood tests in the last year. Nobody (nurses) ever made me felt this pain. After feeling the pain for several hours, I decided to check my arm later yesterday afternoon. I got very shocked and angry when I saw my arm. It looked like the picture.nI believe the nurse didn't do it on purpose, but still it brought extra pain to me. I also understand everybody makes mistakes, but please whoever the nurse was to remember your job is to help patients reduce pain and damage instead of bringing pain and damage to them.nnOne suggestion: please take some trainings if your skills don't match your position.

Hall Health was a great and convenient health resource on campus, while I was completing my undergrad and graduate education. While the front staff aren't super friendly, the providers and nurses are great and all provided great care for acute complaints, required school vaccinations, and travel consults. While I cannot comment on Hall Health's mental health resources, students are allowed access to free safe sex resources. Students pay a student fee every quarter for Hall Health so you might as well use the quarterly subsidized visit! FYI, the over the counter drugs at the Hall Health Pharmacy are priced way cheaper than your local drug stores like Bartells or QFC.

I have gone to Hall Health since I was a student at UW. When I became a staff member I continued my relationship. During the COVID crisis, when other providers were in chaos, Hall Health stepped up and provided the best service via telemed and referrals. I love them and, more importantly, trust them with my life.

The front desk lady was extremely rude because I didn't know the ins and outs of Apple Health (which I just got literally a week ago). She then said I had an attitude for asking if she was okay. I was concerned why she was talking to me so aggressively. The nurse I saw for the shots today was super helpful and calmed me down. And gave me the immunizations I requested. Overall, the staff have always been nice but the front desk lady really needs to remember she does have a customer /patient service job. (I work at a front desk on campus and was mortified at how she was talking to the girl in front of me as well).
