Blue Collar Doghouse

I would highly recommend Blue Collar Doghouse for dog daycare! My [almost] 3 year old Golden Retriever loves coming here for daycare and is always super excited! The staff are very friendly, remember which dog is yours, and are passionate about being there and working with the dogs! I love that they send report cards out often with pictures/videos and a little note about how your dog's day was. My dog especially loves playing in the little doggy pool on hot summer days. The dog wash station is also convenient and reasonably priced for when you dont want to clog your drain at home with dog fur.nnThe only thing I feel would make the overall experience even better/unmatched would be if the daycare opened just a little bit earlier (6:30/6:45am) to better accommodate commute times/timetables.

This place is amazing! I've gone here for years for the self dog wash, with my dog that is reactive to other dogs. This year I got a puppy that I've worked very hard with to socialize, so I've been able to take advantage of the doggy daycare. My dog Crash has a blast and comes home exhausted! The workers there are so nice and I can tell that they enjoy him being there. I also get so many report cards with pictures and videos of his day. I've brought him to another daycare when he was younger but they don't even come close to this place. The play area is huge! And having a border collie mix, running is a must. The staff is super friendly and helpful! They have taller self wash tubs which makes it much easier. And great pricing.

Not a bad local option for a quick rinse off if you need something outside of the home to help with bathing your pet. The staff were all very kind and quite willing to assist with anything you might need. The building is a little tucked away but the shop itself is maintained well. The price is fairly cheap and given other options, is a fair value. My only recommendations would be in the quality of soaps offered, if you have a longer haired pup who may require some top shelf product, bring it with you. The soaps offered aren't bad in a pinch, but they couldn't do much for my long haired pup. Also, the water spout runs cold for quite some time before it begins to warm, let it run for a bit if you have a fussy one (like mine). The hand dryers offered are quite powerful but it essentially blow cold air which results in a lot of fuss but a still damp pup, even after a decent amount of effort. I think this place is a great option if you're looking for a quick place to clean low-maintenance pups and at a good value. I would love to see this place grow in the community, given Edmonds has a fairly large population of pet owners and I look forward to what they may offer in the future.
