I will try one more time to leave this review. It seems like I keep getting bumped off and have to start all over again. I would rate this 4 stars and could not rate at 5 because who really likes having an MRI? However the experience was not bad it all and went very smoothly. When I was told I would be under the machine for 1 hour I was apprehensive although I did like knowing how long I would have to be there. I was given a little squeeze ball that I could use in case I had to talk to somebody and that was very reassuring so I was able to relax and get through the experience just fine. Everyone was helpful and considerate and friendly.

I was sighting in my crossbow when my thumb was caught as the string was released. My husband took me to the Express Care on William D. Fitch. I have to say that I received excellent care from nurse Carolyn McCall and Dr. (Cathryn) Locke.nnAfter removing my thumb nail, Nurse McCall was about to sew up my thumb when she hit bone in a place it was not suppose to be. She quit immediately and sent me for x-rays. The x-rays showed that the bones in the end of my thumb had been crushed. When this information was received by Nurse McCall she immediately called the main ER in Bryan to see which doctor was on call. Luckily, Dr. Darryl Peterson, a hand specialist, was on call. He saw the x-rays and Nurse McCall told him that my thumb was open to the bone. Dr. Peterson then directed me to go straight to the ER and that I would need surgery immediately. When I arrived at the ER, I went straight to Day Surgery and within an hour I was in surgery.nnI could not have had better care from entering the Express Care and through surgery thanks to Carolyn McCall, Dr. Locke and Dr. Peterson and the other nurses at the ER.nnMy care in rehab has been excellent as well. Rob, my therapist, started directly into a number of exercises and explained the care my thumb would need to mend correctly. He showed me how to clean and wrap my wound as well.nnThank you so much for all your care and dedication .nnCathy Goen

We lost our baby this week and the hospital staff was the best staff I have ever experienced. They helped heal my heart a little. They were so caring and knew their jobs very well. Dr. Dawson is the most respectful doctor. We have our 3rd baby 2 years ago there and I have to say the same thing. They are all amazing. Not one bad employee. Always so loving. I will always choose this hospital and staff every time.

We received great care! From the same day appointment to being seen and tested quickly...the staff were pleasant and professional. Results from our visit were quickly reported to us the next day! Will definitely come back for any health care needs in our future.
