Creekside Bar-be-que

The food was delicious and the staff were attentive and sweet. I didn't have to wait long for anything nor did I have to ask for a refill. It was just done when my drink got low which is how it should be. And they did ignore my son which I appreciate. I definitely will return.

Wow!!!! DEFINITELY RIGHT UP THERE with one of my favorite chains Jim and Nicks. The smoked ribs fall off the bone and are very tender. The mac and cheese, collards and sweet potato souffle were all excellent. The banana pubbing was great even though i prefer more bananas yet it did not send you to into a diabetic coma. The portion sizes were great! I will definitely be back!!!!!

Keep in mind when reading my review, this is coming from a barbecue fanatic that likes to travel places just to try different barbecue. I love the atmosphere here & the inside is really cute! (And it IS beside a creek!) Our waitress Summer was extremely friendly and really good! The tea is kind of thick & not southern sweet. My husband did not like the coleslaw because he likes it thicker and he said it was sweet, but I normally hate coleslaw & I love sweet things so I tried it and I actually loved the coleslaw! That’s the best coleslaw I’ve ever had (for my personal preferences). The Brunswick stew was a let down. Needed to be hotter and everything in it was minced up so not a pleasant texture to the mouth & no smokey flavor like another review said. Fries mediocre. My husband loved the mustard barbecue sauce and it had a sweet tangy taste. I liked the sweet barbecue sauce they had. The barbecue itself was not our favorite. I personally like it minced more and this one has little cubes in it and chunks. It was moist enough but bland. The sweet potato soufflé had great flavor but very mushy and none of that nice crisp topping that a lot of places will have. Husband thought the collard greens were great! They brought Texas toast to the table which was really neat and it was excellent! Great flavor. I did enjoy the atmosphere and the music.

I’m from Charleston and stopped to have lunch. Best BBQ I’ve had in a long time! I highly recommend this restaurant. Great service, very friendly staff.

Food is always good. Thats what bring us back. The customer service over the phone could use a more friendly helpful demeanor.
