They just don't care. They have jobs so why bother with good care? If I could go into negative numbers I would. Nurse Fred was remarkable, excellent, and went beyond great. I was a critical care nurse for 38 yrs. There are so many security guards for a reason. You can't give bad care without someone getting mad. Oh and BTW I worked for St anthony's for decades

I went in to the hospital last night because I had passed out in my home. I have heart problems and am currently 18 weeks pregnant. I couldn't make it all the way to my doctor at OU so I went to the emergency room here. I told them everything about my condition, the just took my vitals, did an EKG and said everything was normal. I read my blood pressure and it was 187/80 and I informed them that they needed to call my doctor for instruction because that is what my doctor advised me to do if I ever went to a different hospital. They did not call, and they continued to do the EKG after I had a scheduled one at OU literally the day before all of this happened. And proceeded to tell me it read normal, and never in my life have I ever had a normal EKG with the heart problem I have. After waiting some time for the doctor, he tried to diagnose me with something else, didn't have my charts, and then proceeded to tell me and treat me with a UTI, in which I haven't been having any complications with anything like that. Never once did he help with the high blood pressure I was experiencing, and never once did the consider to listen to my baby's heart beat. If you are having serious medical issues, this St. Anthony's is no the place for proper care.

My husband has been sick and has all the COVID symptoms and they just told him he will be fine it is a stomach bug and wouldn’t test him and didn’t even ask him about what was going on. I never liked the dr even when I was pregnant and was in pain and sick and bleeding the dr told me I was fine and it will pass. Never did he ask what was going on with me or let me talk. I don’t like this hospital I rather drive two hours way just to be seen by a dr who will listen

We had a good experience. Staff was attentive and treated us with respect and care, gave the urgency to those around us which required it. Staff says the emergency area is not equipped for the amount of patients it receives. Our city needs another hospital. Our wait was long but worth it for the care we received.
