Swedish Head & Neck Surgery - Seattle

Bad staff , Rachel, unorganized and rude. She should be fired . It's too bad that this clinic cannot control her staff. Or this clinic is arrogant and does not care how to treat patients with manner.

Well we feel like communication with your patient isn't very good at all. When we met with Dr. Kim he said he would operate and get the tumor and get clean margins. That meant no chemmotherapy. We wondered how the surgery went and had to ask a Dr. ,we did not know on rounds, and he said it went according to planned. We met later with the assistant and were told Dr. Kim decided to stop and not finish and left cancer in the margin. Why? We were told now we need chemo and radiation. We got a second opinion and were told this margin could be removed. This ment no chemo so they called Dr. Kim and he agreed to remove the margin. That ment another surgery for my husband, more pain and suffering. If we had not gotten another opinion we would of not known. Would Dr. Kim called us to get this done. No...he would of let my husband go thru chemo when he did not need to. I don't know why we would be treated like this. Dr. Kim if this were your father....would you be happy with this performance of a surgeon? We as patients trust you to do what is right and moral and you failed us. Your super busy and can't even meet with your patients. Were you too busy to finish the margin for us? Did you have another surgery and decided to stop on my husband? I'm upset!nnYour staff also never called us about the pet scan we got. We did not know the results until this Dr. on rounds told us. We did not know if my husband had cancer in his body for weeks. This whole thing is madness. We don't sue people but I would do so if we were that type. Think about peoples feelings and how you would react if this was your family. I hope you think about this and change the way you treat your patients!
