No sure why there are so many negative reviews but I started coming here in November and the staff at check in are always so friendly and welcoming. Doctor Andrew Smith is the best Doctor I’ve ever had and genuinely cares about his patients. Highly recommend this location.

If you don’t love your doctor, avoid this place like the plague. The phone service is the worst I have ever experienced for a doctor’s office. I am not calling the cable or phone company. Give me a break. On hold for over 30+minutes to schedule an appointment is ridiculous.(still waiting while writing this review)You are on hold to talk to an operator who routes your call to the doctor. Then you are on hold again. Obviously my time is worth nothing.nUpdate! On hold for 40 minutes. Called on another line while on hold to find out from the operator they close at 5. I called at 4:30! Totally upset. This is my first experience with Poly Clinic, what a let down.

Staff is friendly but when I scheduled an appointment for various issues Over the phone I was surprised to find when arriving to my appointment only half the things I mentioned were ever written down and brought up to my doctor so I ended up having to “surprise” her with issues that were failed to be brought up previously. Not only that but it’s very difficult to get clear answers from the doctors especially when it comes to follow up questions and the paper they give you with details on the appointment visit is about as far from detailed as you could get. Again the staff is very warm and welcoming but in terms of functionality I have continuously felt incredibly frustrated trying to communicate with the doctors and staff.

Do NOT seek care here! This is a for profit facility and it shows in the way they practice medicine here. When you have a legit illness they will keep you in a revolving door so they can make more money. Their providers are not educated in the means of insurance. They are too lazy to look for a different Rx that will work with your insurance to help with cost at the pharmacy. I also went to talk to a NP regarding a Rx and she ended up charging it as a physical. Physicals are only allowed once a year at no cost to the patient, so when I actually went to go for my physical I had to pay full cost! Also, I was leaving town for a bit and asked a ENT specialist to refill a prednisone Rx and not only could she not be bothered but she said I did not need the Rx even though I was suffering from chronic symptoms that did not resolve. Polyclinic is good at making themselves money, but the patient will ultimately suffer in health and in medical bills. POLYCLINIC please do not respond back to this review, there is nothing you can do to smooth things over, your providers are useless and I really don't care what you have to say.

In summary: We will not be returning because we felt the Polyclinic was not transparent with the cost of their service before we went in. Why does it cost $212 just to weigh a child on a standard scale for a couple of seconds? Visiting this office provided zero value to us and ended up just being a big hassle (the office was an hour late for the appointment). Worst experience at a doctor’s office we have ever had.nnNote: I seldom ever write negative reviews so this is out of the ordinary for me.nnAdditional Details: The doctor asked us to bring our child in to weigh him at the office which we thought was going to be billed to the insurance as a standard simple wellness checkup and be fully covered (we pay thousands of dollars each year for insurance). We ended up getting a bill for over $200 to just set our child on a simple scale for a couple of seconds. We would have NEVER taken him in to weigh him if we would have known that the clinic wanted to charge over $200 for something so simple. Weighing him in the office added no value to us because we already weigh him at home every other day and we would have never agreed to pay over 200 dollars for a data point we already had. The appointment ended up being a hassle as well because the office was running way behind and we ended up waiting for an hour for such a short quick weighing. We felt tricked, blindsided, and taken advantage of! We tried talking with the office to ask them why it cost over $200 to place a child on a scale. We got the run around. It took weeks and we just kept on getting passed around between the office, billing and insurance. They had no answers and agreed that it seemed excessive to charge so much just to place a child on a scale. They said however, there was nothing that they would do and that we just needed to pay it. They were not willing to work with us at all. This office visit was a clear example to us of what is broken in the medical world, a lack of transparency and excessive costs that feel predatory . We wish they would have been more transparent with their cost of service before we went in so we could have made a more informed decision and not been blindsided.
