City Roots Coffee Bar

This is a great little coffee shop! The drinks are tasty, the atmosphere is relaxed and cozy, and the staff are knowledgeable and friendly. Their matcha drinks are good enough for ME to enjoy them, and I normally dislike matcha!nnDefinitely worth checking out. Get a cookie while you're there, they're delicious

Definitely better than Starbucks! But then again - how can you compare apples to oranges? The barista’s are always so friendly and welcoming, and sometimes I just tell them to make me a mystery drink, and they have never failed to surprise me! I love the ambience in this coffee shop, and the little outdoor seating area as well. This is definitely my to go to spot for coffee and business meetings!

I love being here. I can not say enough about the wonderful atmosphere. The staff is super friendly, the coffee and tea creations are divine. I can’t get enough.

City Roots is an ideal Coffee Bar. Hours currently are 7-9 (call or look at their site for more up to date info obviously) the coffee is roasted in house, and they also have some food and alcohol options. Atmosphere tho is TOP NOTCH. Many different types of seating as well as just super clean and modern aesthetic. This is my go to spot as a Baton Rouge garden district native/resident.

City roots would be a great coffee shop before Corona. With Corona, it's a bit worse. That's okay though. Their biscuits were different last I went, but the ones I had two months ago were more than killer - they serially killed me. Bring those back please? Also the Match dream thing they have is unreal.
