Dr. Joey is the most caring and thorough eye doctor. I injured my eye on a holiday weekend when he was closed and Dr. Joey called me right back and.went out of his way to meet me at his office right away! I have been seeing him for two years to monitor my eye pressure because I’ve had surgery for narrow angle glaucoma. Dr. Joey is more thorough in his exam then the best Eye doctors I’ve been to in Miami. His testing equipment is very modern and his staff is friendly and professional. Unlike Miami, I don’t wait in his office for three hours, I usually wait ten minutes or less. We are extremely lucky to have such an excellent eye doctor in our small town and I would and have recommend Dr. Joey to anyone looking for an eye doctor who is highly skilled, compassionate and thorough.

Only 4 stars because I haven't had his services personally yet. Can't imagine not choosing him. I was with my wife for appointment she had. What I witnessed was an up to date, highly professional office. Dr Arencibia was just like his staff: professional, efficient, and personable. The other reviewer seems upset because he was told the people that made his glasses are responsible to correct any problems with the prescription or with how they were made. Progressive lenses or lined bifocals is a personal choice. Put on your big boy pants and choose.

I won't be going back… as soon as doctor Joey found out that I bought glasses from a different place down in Florida because I'm not independently wealthy and was down at Mayo clinic already for major vascular testing.... He literally started acting like a 16 year old girl whose boyfriend cheated on him. He told me that there was nothing they could do it was not their problem and I needed to go see the place that made my glasses. He became very impatient when I tried asking him whether or not I needed progressives or bifocals. He basically didn't care one way or the other all because I bought glasses somewhere else. He couldn't get out of the room fast enough. Very very unprofessional if you ask me. They are the most polite people and they have and an immaculately clean office… but the politeness goes away with the doctor if you don't get everything from them. Needless to say, at 43 years old and my 1st experience with ever having to wear glasses or see a doctor about my eyes… I'm very disappointed.
