We've got a second home in Ellijay. Will be full time residents in a few years. I stopped in about a year ago, just scouting out the area. It was a slow weekday. I went in to just look around. There was nothing that I was particularly hunting at the moment. The owner and his assistant chatted with me for a good while. I did end up buying a 20 round AR mag that I needed. The store has a good selection of used firearms and accessories. I collect military firearms. This was a great experience and I WILL be coming back.

Walk in atmopshere was decent but gets ruined by the owner staring through the back of your head. After only five minutes of browsing we were told to leave or buy items. Also, the employee there was haggling with another customer and stopped negotiations to tell us to leave. Our plan was to purchase ammo and a magazine for our glock back at home. I will not go back and would recommend others to do the same.

This is a follow up to a prior post regarding a purchase of a 12 gauge double barrel shotgun from Tony at the gun shop. The shotgun would not eject the spent shells. I took the shotgun to multiple gunsmiths for there opinionnAll the experts say the same thing. A part had been removed that was critical to ejecting the shells. It didn’t fall out. It was removed. Tony said each firearm goes through an inspection to make sure it is in good working order. That did not happen in my case. Tony would not stand behind the purchase. I bought the shotgun and didn’t fire it until the following season. It now makes a nice wall decoration. Lesson learned. NEVER SHOP THERE AGAIN
