The Social House started out impressing me as I was able to call in and get placed on the waiting list. Was seated very quickly but was surprised at how crowded and close together we were with other patrons considering the state of the world with the pandemic. The service was slow but not too bad considering how busy the place was.nnWe ordered the pork with mac and cheese and vegetables and the short rib waffle with a side of fries.nnI would not recommend them to anyone. The pork was bone dry and the vegetables were very sad, dry, and wilted. The waffle had no flavor and was topped with under-seasoned and dry short rib meat. The combination of dry meat and a dry waffle was devastating.nnI will say however there was a side with each meal that was exceptional. The fries were hot, a bit crispy, and seasoned to perfection. The Mac and cheese was creamy and cheesy with every bite. Both were good and it's almost a shame because it shows the restaurant can produce good eats.

The first time we came here a couple months ago we were instantly in love! Hot food, delicious homemade pork rinds, and we liked it so much we kept ordering more and more just so we didn't have to leave. This time around was just... disappointing. The fried green tomatoes were barely lukewarm and one tomato was sliced so large, it was still hard when I bit into it. I also ordered the salmon croquettes, which they were out of even though it was the start of the day and we were the first ones in, so the waitress suggested the tuna which was so soaked in soy it was all you could taste. I ended up just giving it to my friend to eat. Also they aren't offering the pork rinds anymore which was one of the reasons we went back. Overall, just such a big contrast from our first visit. Sad, because I really love the atmosphere and the mimosas deal is amazing. All the waitstaff is really nice but leaving a restaurant with a half empty stomach isn't a great experience.

Had a party of six and decided to try something new. Atmosphere was great and chill. The service and food were terrific. The menu had a little something for everyone. Our party had Salmon, Short Ribs and Burgers and everyone enjoyed their meals. We will be back!!!

Since moving to Marietta, The Social House has become an absolute favorite for my husband and I! Great location in the square, food is always amazing, and the servers are so kind, friendly, yet give you space too. Great place where we ALWAYS take family when they visit ♥ufe0f
