Victory Marine

Called Victory for a 40 HP re-power of my son's Whaler two weeks ago. I am still waiting for a returned call, after leaving 4 messages. I see all the good reviews, my experience is the opposite.

The wife and I met the owner today at the Daytona Boat show. I am considering a Tahoe T16 boat but was unable to find anyone near me in the Clermont area (including Bass Pro Shops) who could answer my questions. Not only was Joe able to do what others could not, he was informative on things I was not thinking about but would be important later, especially rod holder install, placement. He was patient and a pleasure to talk to. If the wife lets me get the boat I will make the trip back to his marine and give him my business .

Hands down the best marine service department I have ever worked with. Joe (owner), his daughter Amanda and Andrew, the technician have been fantastic to work with. They are honest, friendly and very knowledgeable. This is my “go to” for Yamaha work.

Maybe I went when they (sales and owner) were having a bad day but they were short and didn’t want to deal with me. It was hot but I was the only one there and the “owner” had to go to his sales guy to get the prices. The prices are the same as ordering online so u save no money (on new boats) but I didn’t purchase since they we’re short and didn’t want to talk at all. Seemed like they didn’t care about me which sometimes happens because of my appearance. I have long hair a beard and I don’t dress in boat shoes so most people don’t believe I have the money to buy a new boat. Oh well there’s a ton of more dealers.
