Beat pet store ever.

We love our local pet store! Whenever we have questions...a sick fish or buying a rabbit, the staff members take time to answer everything thoroughly and passionately. They are very knowledgable and kind. We also love to just visit without buying anything and they mentioned they do free field trips from younger aged classes. :)

Always the best pet store. Everyone is helpful and Knowledgeable and they have great stock in Cat items. Even a room for rescued cats to be adopted. Now with the virus out, they offer door pick-up and the staff is wearing appropriate gear and following safety precautions with what I observed in the store. A few years ago Staff member Laura helped me pick out cat litter and it changed everything for the good! No cat “accidents” outside the box.

Wildly overpriced.nnWe looked at their cat towers briefly and they were charging over a hundred dollars for a 3 foot tall tower. We picked up a 7 foot tall tower with sturdy construction and high quality carpeting for $75 at Costco. The cat loves it.nnWe needed a 2nd litter box and Mud Bay was out due to supply issues. We spent $40 on a litter box here and its poorly made. It has a cover with clasps and a handle on top, very similar to the one we got from Mud Bay. The Mud Bay one cost less money. But the one from Denny's is made of a thinner plastic and its clasps are weak. You can't even pick up the litter box using the handle when no litter is inside it. The clasps simply do not function and the bottom clatters to the floor.nnIn addition to all that, the swinging door that clips onto the cover suffers the exact same issue as the clasps. Barely holds together and falls off all the time. It scares my cat and she hates that box.nnAnd even IF the door worked at all, the producer of the litter box pasted a massive sticker on the clear plastic of the door that is made with low quality paper and overkill glue. I need to use goo gone and elbow grease to remove. This matters because the door is clear plastic, meant to let some ambient light in. I don't own goo gone, and so my cat doesnt like the litter box because it is too dark on the inside. And then the door falls off on top of her. Guess what? The box I bought at Mud Bay didn't put a massive sticker on the clear plastic door. She loves her Mud Bay litter box.nnOverall, Denny's asks for way too much money for shoddy products. If you are a cheap penny pincher like myself, go to Mud Bay. If you want to get quality equipment for your cat, go to Mud Bay. Go figure.

A well-tended, clean and organized store. The staff were all super nice and friendly. A good selection of cat and dog foods plus they have really nice, tall cat trees made with real wood (just bought one about 8 feet tall for two large, male cats).
