Swedish Emergency Room - Redmond

Horrifying billing department. Please refrain using this hospital.nI've been harassing by Swedish billing department for an amount that already paid by my Insurance company. I followed up on same thing lot of times on this issue with them but no use still they are bothering, harassing for the double payment

Awesome caring staff in a fully stocked ER!

Awesome staff and super clean and nice hospital. .I brought my wife with severe abdominal pain. Doctor and nurses were very knowledgeable and had scanning equipment and quickly diagnosed the issue. Eventually she had to be transferred to a different hospital for surgery. The staff was very professional, comforting, and there was no wait at all to get into the emergency room. We drove from Seattle to Redmond to this place because it's not as busy. We made it in less than 20 minutes during 8am rush hour traffic. Going to Swedish in Seattle would have taken even longer trying to drive through SLU and downtown, not to mention the crowded waiting room. Highly recommended. If you live in the Seattle area, this place is a great option for emergencies.

All the staff we encountered were friendly yet efficient. I brought my husband in to try to kill an 8 day migraine. The Dr was patient and polite. He even brought my husband a pillow when he noticed we were using a jacket to prop his head. Good bedside manner.nnThey do not have an MRI, so if you have an emergency which requires that, you will be transferred elsewhere.nnEdited: I initially wrote the review before we left the ER.nnThe Dr, by the end of our visit, was dismissive of our concerns and made us feel rushed. There were many empty beds, so we weren't preventing any other patients from receiving care. There were some things said to us as we were checking out by both the Dr and the nurse that obviously came from some rude exchanges between them while they were outside the room.nnFront desk staff and the tech (Big Joe) were FANTASTIC, but initially couldn't save the experience.

AVOID this place for small wounds.nI went ER for small dog bite on one of my fingers and I spend around 10 minuets. During that time , they cleaned my finger and gave me antibiotic bandage and charged me around $1100 so AVOID.
