Service has gone downhill since they became Tinte Cellars. They don’t seem to care for wine club members anymore. Only tasting William Church wine, no Cullen Hills (who they merged with). Friendly atmosphere is totally gone, it’s all about signing up new members now. Also, employees off the clock take tables to themselves while paying customers are left to stand. Unfortunate as their wine is delicious, but we’ll be cancelling our membership.

Although the wine is delicious I didn't have the best experience at William Church Winery. I had made a reservation for a group of 10-15 to celebrate a birthday after a more intimate and smaller group brunch at Purple Cafe next door. The wine pourer on Saturday harassed my guests when they showed up for the wine tasting. She was very crabby and made snarky comments about them not having a reservation and how she wouldn't be able to do all the wine pourings. It was very unfortunate given that most of the group purchased bottles of wine to drink and enjoy which required little of her. She really missed out on a great opportunity to show off what William Church had to offer. When I arrived I introduced myself and explained to her that I did in fact have a reservation. She checked the books and unfortunately her coworker had made a mistake and scheduled it for the weekend after. She offered no apology which I didn't expect. I told her that I would never show up to a small winery with a group of 10-15 without a reservation. I wish she had checked to see if it was her mistake before she was incredibly rude to my guests.

I felt very uncomfortable in this winery. They continuously stared and pointed at us while we had a tasting with no apparent reason why. Aside from that, the wine was lacking any particular complexity that would drive me or my party back despite the service.

outstanding client service... members are made to feel special... not to mention the fabulous wines
