It okay. After I saw nurse practitioner wasn’t happy with taking antidepressants. Try like 5 different ones and most were useless. She also didn’t take notes well as I was allergic to one of medications.

Just a look into the nightmare I experienced here. I was in this facility a couple years ago involuntarily. I had been to 2 adolescent facilities before this one. This is the WORST place I ever went. The nurses were all rude and nasty to all the kids. They had no business working with children with mental health issues. My first day I woke up after sleeping for long hours due to the overdose. I came out of my room and it was “free time” where all the children were allowed outside of the room to play games etc. they told me that since I didn’t wake up for breakfast or group that I am on a “code red” and have to stay in my room for free time. They made us stay in our rooms for hours upon hours with nothing but a blackboard and chalk. The nurses hung out and ate and laughed and had a good ol time in the nurse area, and as I yelled to please let us out of the room, they slammed the door to the nurses office so they could not hear us yelling to let us out. There was a 6 year old in there with us who one night was screaming and crying at his door because he missed his parents. I left my room to go and comfort him because the nurses were not, they threatened to put me on “code red” for leaving my room to comfort him. As I went back to my room, they left him there to cry and scream for his parents. Please, please do not let your children go here. LEWIS GALE also has an adolescent inpatient facility that is amazing in my opinion who treated us with respect and the care we deserved. This place is disgusting and should be shut down for how they treat mentally ill children.
